Etsu Izakaya, Mermaid Waters
A Japanese menu like no other, Etsu is a dining experience to remember. The dishes are designed to be shared, but you can certainly enjoy the dishes alone if you wish! This impressive list of dishes is served in a dark Tokyo-style setting. We recommend the Miso Tooth Fish, Etsu Fried Chicken, Nasu Dengaku, and the desserts are divine. There’s a trick to finding this hole in the wall – you either have to be in the know or look for the red lantern. We have full faith that you will enjoy every dish here. The curved ceilings foster a feeling of cosiness, of home, whilst also eliciting high-end dining vibes through the impeccable presentation, intended to surprise.
Kyomi, Broadbeach
Mouth-watering sashimi. Indulgent foie gras. Freshly shaken cocktails. With a menu created by visionary Executive Head Chef Chase Kojima, Kiyomi gives diners a modern, yet authentic taste of Tokyo. This restaurant takes Japanese dining to the next level. As you explore the innovative dishes and decadent drinks on offer, you’ll quickly see why Kiyomi has earned its reputation as one of the Gold Coast’s most talked about restaurants. For an incredible dinner and exceptional service, Kyomi is the place to be. Order the Donatsu, Wagyu, Hiromasa Kingfish Ceviche, and Oyster Yuzu Granita. Stay at The Star, or locally with My Queensland.

Moo Moo, Broadbeach
Moo Moo sets the stage for a more inclusive steak house vibe than the typical macho steak house. With stunning interiors and lighting, this is a new kind of steak restaurant. More than just beef, there is an array of exceptional vegetarian, poultry, or seafood dishes. We love the Bang Bang Duck, Hervey Bay Scallops, Beef Tasting Plate, Roasted Creamed Potatoes with Paris Butter, and don’t leave without sipping an espresso martini. There is also a Mini Moo Menu for the little ones; you’ll be waiting a bite of the kids Wagyu Cheeseburger. Located in the hub of bustling Broadbeach, stay with My Queensland at one of our perfectly packaged resorts.
Mamasan Kitchen + Bar, Broadbeach
Lined with relics procured from all over Southeast Asia, the ambiance is dark, romantic, and luxurious. Tantalising oriental aromas surround you. The cuisine that follows is a journey of delicious Asian fusion, including our favourites: Mamasan KFC, Spanner Crab Ravioli Dumplings, Asian Mushroom Wantons, Duck Pancakes, Glazed lamb ribs, and Ice Cream Bao Sandwich. A shared dining experience to remember, there is no doubt you’ll be back.
Bazaar, Surfers Paradise
Bazaar, conveniently located inside QT Gold Coast, is not your regular buffet. Inspired by the souks of the Middle East and the bodegas of Latin America, this bustling restaurant recreates a traditional marketplace with a modern twist. Here, the menu changes daily and offers everything you could ever want and more; slow-cooked meats, trawler-fresh seafood, wood-fired pizzas, dumpling stations, homegrown veggies, and a decadent spread of desserts. What sets Bazaar apart from other buffet restaurants is how interactive the experience is. Each of the various stations is manned by chefs with whom you can discuss their creations and ingredient origins. This immersive, flavourful experience is one to remember.
Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats, Surfers Paradise
Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats is fast becoming one of the Gold Coast’s hottest dining venues. You can also grab craft beer and ciders, along with an array of specialty cocktails.
Arlo’s Pizzeria, Chevron Island
Great for the family, Arlos offers pizzas that will rival the likes of Naples. An easy dinner option if you want pizza delivered to your hotel in Surfers, or you want to pick up the pizzas and sit alongside the lake nearby HOTA. You can’t go wrong with any dish at Arlo’s.
