Explore the highlights of the Gold Coast hinterland and discover the natural beauty of Lamington National Park, O’Reilly’s and Canungra on this guided experience.

Your day begins with a relaxed drive through the Canungra Valley. We take a brief stop in Canungra where you can purchase a hot beverage. Light refreshments are offered before continuing our journey from the valley floor to the summit of World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park, part of the largest continuous, subtropical rainforest anywhere on earth. Upon arrival at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat your guide will explain the O’Reilly’s amazing history including the Stinson plane crash. Experience a birds eye view of a rainforest canopy on the tree top walk consisting of 9 suspension bridges 16 metres above ground. A special wildlife experience awaits once you return, get your camera out and capture a picture of the wild King Parrots or Crimson Rosellas feeding from your plate! Our next stop is Kamarun lookout which provides stunning 300-degree views, from the Gold Coast to Brisbane. When visiting the Scenic Rim, a stop at a vineyard is a must. O’Reilly’s own Canungra Valley Vineyard set beside a mountain
stream gives you the chance to check out the vineyard, meet the local Alpacas and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine. Lunch options are available for purchase at Canungra Valley Vineyard. Pick up at all Gold Coast accommodation between Broadbeach and Southport by Hot Air Gold Coast Coaches for your Hot Air Balloon ride,  There is up to a 1 hour transfer. Please contact Hot Air within 48hours to confirm the pick-up time.

06.00am Experience the fun & unique sensation of being in a Hot Air Balloon, flying gently high over the Gold Coast Hinterlands, Australia.  The balloon takes off from the Scenic Rim located in the Gold Coast Hinterland.  Enjoy the picturesque landscape at first light, floating in your Hot Air Balloon, time to really breathe in the wide-open spaces of this ancient landscape with views of Mount Warning, as well as the Gold Coast and Brisbane city skylines.  We have Australia’s largest fleet of Hot Air Balloons and a fun and highly trained crew, who’s professionalism maximises the enjoyment of your balloon flight.  It’s just like a balloon festival, every day!

07.00am Return to earth for landing ready for Hot Air Balloon pack-up games and lots of laughs.
07.30am Depart for a sumptuous breakfast at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyard, topped off with a glass of sparkling wine.
09.00am Return transfers back to your accommodation on the Gold Coast.

The tour finish time varies with the seasons (Summer, Winter and the time of First light). We can drop you back to your Gold Coast accommodation or, with prior notice, we can drop you off to the theme parks, Paradise Jet Boating, Sea World Cruises, Aquaduck or IFly.
